Performance in one design racing is achieved not only from the right sails, but from the set up of the boat as well. Our goal is to provide our customers with the current tuning techniques and the fastest sails, as well as a level of service unmatched by any other sailmaker. To help our customers achieve their best performance, Doyle has assembled a group of experts to coordinate the sail development and service for one design classes.
Doyle's rapidly growing one-design department is headed up by Dave Curtis, two-time Rolex Yachtsman of the Year and Jud Smith, one-design sailor extraordinaire and America's Cup veteran. The offshore one-design division is headed by John Baxter, a vetran of the Farr 40, Beneteau 36.7 and Mumm 30 classes. Doyle's Off Shore One Design group of experts is made up of Americas Cup, World, and National Champions including Jud Smith, Mark Ploch, Richard Bouzaid and Dave Curtis.
